Maserati 200S/250S, chassis #2409

Maserati 200S/250S, chassis #2409 Little was known about the history of this car until International Maserati Research was able to find out for its owner in 2006 that this car was the prototype of the fabled 250S-series from Maserati. Raced in Argentina, Sebring/USA, Cuba and in the Targa Florio, it was later converted by the Factory to 200S-specifications and won the European Hillclimb championship in 1957, driven by Willy Peter Daetwyler. It was sold later to an Italian owner and remained in that country until it was sold to Germany in 1999. It was sold to the UK in 2011.
